BERKELEY TOWNSHIP- Mayor Carmen F. Amato, Jr., today, announced that the Township, in conjunction with The Affordable Housing Alliance, will host a Community Resource Fair.
"This outreach event will access residents to a variety of community resources and vendors including but not limited to: housing counseling services, Superstorm Sandy recovery, legal services, financial counselors, lending institutions, real estate agencies, health care and insurance companies, food assistance organizations, child and family care, and public safety," Mayor Amato stated.
The Community Resource Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 26th at the Berkeley Township Recreation Center, located at 630 Atlantic City Blvd. (Route 9) in Bayville. The Resource Fair will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm.
"I want to thank the Affordable Housing Alliance, specifically Jessica Cardoza, for facilitating this event in our community," Mayor Amato said.
Jessica Cardoza, Support Specialist with the AHA, said, "We look forward to presenting attendees with a multitude of opportunities to achieve their needs."
"The Resource Fair brings several services available for residents, all under one roof. Special thanks to Applebee's of Toms River, Diesel Subs & Wraps and Conca D'oro Ristorante for providing some light fare for the event," Mayor Amato said.
